False Modesty

The prevaling themes of architecture conversations seem to be complaining, and false modesty. If everyone truly thought that their work was as bad as they claim it to be, they wouldn't show their faces. I am becoming increasingly weary of it. I actually *do* need some help from the instructors or a more advanced student, but because people are so used to everyone claiming they don't know what they're doing (when in fact they are just fine) that they don't realize how dire my need is. Ugh.
